'' चाह ''

सखारै व्यूंझिन्दा
मेरो अघिल्लतिर
गजबको आकृतिले
दर्शन भेटमा भन्यो-
''ए बालिग..!
तैंले उनलाई जताउने गरेको
प्रेम समर्पणप्रति
म प्रसन्न भएँ

ल भन् ,तैंले चाह गरेको मध्ये
एक चाह पुरा गरिदिनेछु ''

ब्यूँझदै गरेको मस्तिष्कले
त्यो आकृतिलाई भगवान ठान्यो
र मैले
पाउने लालसामा
मेरो दिल-दिमागमा
सदैव गुम्सिरहेको
-''धन'' मागें
आकृतिको अलप पछि
क्षण भरमै
मेरो कोठामा
सुन-चांदी,हिरा-मोति,पैसा-असर्फी
चाहे भन्दा ज्यादा नै पाएँ
त्यसपछि
जे-जे अभीष्टहरू थिए
सबै-सबै पुरा गरें।

अपसोच
साँझ
वल्ल उनको याद आयो।

Whilst waking up early in the morning
A strange shadowy form appeared
Right in front of me
And said
That "Hey man
I was pleased with the love
You have shown her
"Tell me one of your longings
I will fulfill."
My awakening mind
Considered the shadowy form God
And I
Prayed for wealth-
Placed in my heart and mind
No sooner had the shadowy form
Disappeared
Then I found gold and silver,
Diamond and pearl, money and gold coin
More than I desired
Then whatever desires there were
I fulfilled
Unfortunately
In the evening
I could hardly miss her.
